HyperMax from Performax Labs – Reviewed

In the last two posts I looked closer at a test booster from Cellucor, more specificlly P6 Extreme, and in the post before that, I shared my thoughts on the popular fat burner Yellow Bullet. Since the beginning of Muscles Zone I have posted a lot of content on various top rated pre workout supplements, including No Xplode, 1 MR, Redline White Heat, Nitrox II, Pumped Raw, NO3 Black Chrome, Pre Jym and several more.

In this post I will take a closer look at yet another pre workout supplemen. Here goes;

Hypermax is a pre-workout supplement manufactured by Performax Labs. This is the same company that created AlphaMax, the muscle builder and FitMax, the fat burning supplement. HyperMax is relatively new in the market and it was preceded by PowerMax. The brand released this high intensity PWO supplement, HyperMax, advertising it as a better, improved and more powerful supplement than its predecessor. Like many other pre work out supplements, HyperMax packs a lot of stimulant and other performance enhancing ingredients that we will discuss further in detail.

Performax Labs claims that this new supplement, HyperMax, uses an entirely new and unique formula that is much better than its predecessors. Additionally, the brand claims to use high quality ingredients to create the ultimate PWO that will give users hyper focus, intense and superior energy and improved performance. Mental focus, alertness, endurance, superior performance and intense long lasting energy are all states that will give you a great advantage during a workout session. Body builders and athletes who are constantly looking to improve their performance and endurance will be able to achieve this by using such PWO supplements. The question however is, is this supplement effective? Does it live up to its promises? What is this hype all about? Let’s find out.

Supplement Facts

A tub of HyperMax is approximately 40 servings. So this will last for about 40 workout sessions – 1 serving per session. A scoop or serving holds approximately 6g of the powder supplement. The supplement is mixed with up to 12oz of water and its mix ability is great – no residue or clumps.

Ingredient Blend

Beta Alanine

Agmatine Sulfate

Micronized Glycerol Monostearate

Choline Bitartrate

B-Phenylethylamine HCL

4-Amino-2-Methylpentane Citrate

Higenamine HCL

Hordenine HCL

Rauwolfia Vomitoria Extract

Other ingredients contained in the supplement include: Maltodextrin, Citric Acid, Sucralose, Silicon Dioxide, Acesulfame Potassium, Red #40 Natural and Artificial Flavors.

It is worth noting that this new formula used to reformulate HyperMax does not include the creatine complex.

Beta Alanine (1.6g per serving) is one of the major building blocks of this pre workout. It plays an important role of increasing carnosine levels. Carnosine is a compound that helps foster endurance as it buffers lactic acid.

Agmatine Sulfate (0.5g per serving) is popular in many pre workout supplements. It is responsible for increasing the production of Nitrogen Oxide – giving users more vascularity, nutrient transportation and pumps.

Micronized Glycerol Monostearate- this is a real performance enhancing compound that aids in rapid cell hydration. It increases intramuscular fluid and fosters endurance during workout sessions.

Choline Bitartrate (250mg per serving) plays the role of neuromodulator and helps increase cognitive functions – improves mental performance and alertness.

L-Norvaline (100mg) helps maintain the Nitrogen Oxide produced by inhibiting enzyme Arginase.

Rauwolfia Vomitoria Extract (500mg) is used to reduce high blood pressure and facilitate proper blood circulation.

B-Phenylethylamine HCL as an ingredient of HyperMax helps reduce stress thus improving your mood and general feeling of well being. Additionally, this compound increases motor activity, cognition, boosts memory and focus.

4-Amino-2-Methylpentane Citrate is a compound that goes by many names. It is also knowm as AMP Citrate, 1, 3-DimethylButylamine citrate or DMBA. Scientists and researchers have raised a red flag over this powerful stimulant. In fact, they say that it is structurally similar to DMAA, a banned compound. While AMP Citrate promises to increase energy and keep your drive high, it is a potentially deadly compound.

Higenamine HCL is sourced from plants such as sacred bamboo and it acts like a stimulant – in PWO supplements like HyperMax, it helps improve athletic performance

Hordenine HCL is a central nervous system stimulant. Combined with caffeine, it increases energy levels and mental alertness.

Flavours, Jar Sizes and Pricing

HyperMax comes in one flavor – watermelon. This is a bit limiting to users; however, many found the flavor likeable. The supplement comes in one jar size that holds all of the 240g powder. It retails at around $32.99-$35.00 depending on the retailer. This brings its cost to just a little below the $1.00 mark per serving.

On supplentsreview.com, HyperMax stands at 7.9 /10 rating. While this is not the best pre work out supplement according to these reviews, it is still among the top rated performance enhancing supplements. More users would prefer a variety of flavors as this was the main issue with the supplement.

Does HyperMax live up to its promise? Absolutely! Performax Labs created one of the most powerful blends with this supplement. It delivers a great dose of vital performance enhancing key player that give you great performance, endurance, focus and intensity.
