Looking for a new pre-workout? I have listed the most popular ones here: Best Pre-Workout
During the last two weeks, I have seen the well-known pre-workout product NooPump from MAN Sports, being sold on offer from various vendors. Now I know why.
MAN Sports has released a new pre-workout which is named; Pump. This new PWO, is seemingly replacing NooPump (which I covered here). This is an interesting move, which seems to be a step in the wrong direction if you ask me. Sure the stuff used in PUMP are proven substances and at tried and tested dosages, but the blend is a bit “skinny”.
NooPump was a novel move in a world stuffed with similar supplements. It had new substances on the supplement facts list, not seen in the PWO space before, and reviews were good. Surely I don’t know the details of the actual sales of this supplement, but the move to PUMP might indicate that they weren’t exactly as good as expected.
They are however, two very different products, and in my opinion, they could easily have had them both on the market, simultaneously. I am not completely sure if NooPump will be discontinued, but with the recent discount on NooPump and the introduction of PUMP, this is seemingly what will happen.
The new PUMP contains the following:
- Niacin 12.5mg 125%
- Vitamin B12 (As Methylcobalamin) 1.2mg 20,000%
- Vitamin C (As Ascorbic Acid) 100mg 166%
- Full Disclosure Pump Powder Actives
- Agmatine Sulfate (Agmaflow™) 500mg
- Glycerol Monostearate (65% Glycerol) 1500mg
- Citrulline Malate 1:1 Ratio 3000mg
There is no doubt that this is a good pump supplement with no stimulants (making it suitable for a stack), but there is nothing mind-blowing here. Personally, I think it will be difficult to make this product stand out in this market. We see new PWOs daily, all of them competing for the same market, so unless you bring something unique to the market, it’s going to be a tough battle.
I like all of the substances used here, and the same is true for the dosages and the 100% transparent supplement facts, but I would personally spend my money elsewhere (like on PreSeries Bulk Pre-Workout from Transparent Labs – an awesome PWO that will be reviewed thoroughly here on muscles.zone in one of the upcoming days).
If you have tried the new PUMP from MAN Sports (or NooPump), I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Please drop a comment below. If you enjoyed this post, plase share it with the world.
